The Armchair Moment – The Best Kenya Medical Insurance Provider
Experience the Armchair Difference
Armchair is a leading solutions provider of private health insurance in Kenya that started with a Briefcase and an
Armchair. A young and ambitious Bhavesh Luhar was looking to start his
insurance agency in the UAE with his partner, Mr Shariq Saleem. The two
were bouncing names off each other, suggesting a name for the
company. According to Mr Luhar’s version of the Story, he found himself
irritated due to the lack of ideas from his partner, who was relaxing on a
rocking Armchair. So he held his partner to task and said,
“You and your Rocking Armchair!”
A lightbulb went up: both partners named their business Armchair Solutions LLC.
The Armchair Name Comes to Kenya
After years of successful business, Bhavesh grabs his briefcase and comes
to Kenya in 2002. He named his company OFS Health Insurance Agency,
where he built a successful business with over 5,000 insured lives. In 2016,
when the strategic demands of the company changed to require the
Government MIP (Medical Insurance Provider) Licence and register an
Insurance Brokerage, Bhavesh imported The Armchair brand. In October
2015, Bhavesh registered Armchair Insurance Brokers Limited. If you are looking for private health insurance in Kenya then you are in right place.
